“I loved my first experience at A Moment Of Peace Yoga. The studio was beautifully set up, creating just the right atmosphere with soft candlelight, soothing incense, and gorgeous music that set the tone perfectly. During the session, Sandy took the time to connect with everyone, offering individual guidance and adjustments to help with form, which made the class feel personalised and supportive. The yoga flow was varied and well-paced, making it accessible yet engaging. I felt incredibly relaxed and comfortable throughout. Afterward, we were treated to teas and snacks, adding a lovely social touch to the experience. It felt like so much more than just a yoga class—truly an immersive and rejuvenating experience. I will definitely be returning!”
“I cannot recommend Sandy’a yoga class enough. I am relatively new to yoga and Sandy was able to give me prompts and recommendations when I needed them. I found the class a perfect balance of relaxing but also strengthening. The quick forehead massage at the end topped it off for me. Will definitely be back when I am in the area!”
“I really enjoyed yoga with Sandy and cannot recommend her class enough; she has very gentle, affirming approach which helps you to connect with your body, moving in line with its needs in whatever way most suits you. She is sensitive and warm, and attends carefully to the pacing of the session to ensure that there is sufficient time to stretch into and soften out of the practice. The setting of the class itself was also so thoughtfully put together - down to lighting, music and scents, it was the perfect ambience for a moment of peace. Thank you Sandy.”
“I went to one of Sandy’s morning Vinyasa Flows and it was amazing! It was held in a really relaxing and cosy set up which helped me to relax right from the start. There are toilets, access to fresh water to fill up a bottle, and a place to chat with other customers. I found that Sandy had a very soothing and containing voice, guiding us helpfully but also interjecting encouragement towards self compassion which was lovely and something I needed. The flow was great, neither too fast nor too slow, with a variety of poses built into it. I felt it the next day! Afterwards during savasana she gave us a head massage with some oils which was lovely. With the smells, candle lights and various chimes/dongs, plus the movement, I felt very different when I left to when I arrived. Would definitely recommend”
“Sandy’s yoga was just what I needed. I found the way she presented her class was unhurried and had options for the less flexible. It was relaxing, yet energising. She is very knowledgeable about poses and her voice is lovely. Afterwards, I felt like my body had been stretched in a good way and my mind felt more peaceful. “This yoga class has made me fall in love with Yoga! Having only ever tried it at my local gym before, I wasn’t sure about the practice and if it was for me. However, taking this class was so different. I felt comfortable and relaxed in the room from start to finish, which along with Sandy’s clear guidance made it a real positive experience. She has a wonderful way of combining mindful breathing and movement and adapts movements to make them more challenging or accessible to cater for all.
